The answer

It is permissible for a person to perform ablution (wudu') while naked in the bathroom if he is alone, and the form of ablution is correct. However, it is preferred to avoid this, as one should not remove clothes except out of extreme necessity, such as during a ritual bath (). It has been authentically narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in the reported by Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Ahmad from Mu'awiyah bin Haydah, that he said: "Guard your 'awrah (private parts), except from your wife or what your right hand possesses." And when he was asked about a man being alone, he said: "Allah is more deserving that one should feel shy before Him."
