Is it permissible to perform ghusl and pray after drying from menstruation on the eighth day, then stop praying and fasting on the ninth day due to the discharge of yellowish and brownish fluid, knowing that the ghusl on the ninth day was based on reading a ruling concerning one who purifies for half a day then experiences yellowish and brownish discharge? And is it obligatory to make up only the ninth day?

If a woman sees yellowness during her regular period, it is considered menstruation, and she must make up for any fasting she missed on that day. However, if she does not see it during her regular period, it is not considered menstruation. Her ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) after the end of menstruation is valid and sufficient. She must make up for the prayers she missed or performed with an invalid purification, bearing in mind that the period of purity interspersed within the menstrual cycle is considered a valid state of purity.
