The answer

Sunscreen has two scenarios:

First: If it does not prevent water from reaching the skin, then purification (wudu/) performed with it is valid.

Second: If it prevents water from reaching the skin, then your wife must re-perform all the prayers she offered while wearing it until she is reasonably certain that she has fulfilled her obligation. This is the view of the majority of scholars. It is permissible to follow the opinion of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and those who agreed with him, which states that re-performing prayers is not obligatory.

As for Hajj, if your wife performed purification for while wearing the sunscreen that prevents water from reaching the skin, her Hajj is valid according to the opinion of some scholars, and it is permissible to follow this opinion after the fact.
