Must a woman sit while bathing?

It is not obligatory for a woman to sit while performing ghusl (ritual bath); she may perform ghusl standing, sitting, or lying down, and the same applies to a man. There is no harm in performing ghusl naked, even though some jurists have recommended that a person should not stand naked and should draw their body together to cover themselves, out of modesty and decorum. However, this is not obligatory.
