A wife is only required to perform ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) if one of two conditions is met: ejaculation from her, even if intromission did not occur, or actual intromission, which is the concealment of the hashafah (glans) in the vagina, even if ejaculation did not occur. However, merely the penis touching the vulva without ejaculation, or semen reaching the vulva without intromission and without her ejaculating, does not necessitate ghusl. It has been narrated from the jurists that if a woman introduces semen into her vagina or anus and it then exits, she is not required to perform ghusl. Furthermore, the questioner must avoid anal intercourse due to its prohibition. As for approaching from behind while avoiding the anus, it is permissible, but there is a fear that it might lead to falling into the forbidden, so it must be avoided if such a fear exists.
