If a woman's menstrual bleeding stops and she observes purity by one of its two signs (dryness or the white discharge), she must perform ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) and pray, and she will have the rulings of pure women. If the blood returns during the menstrual period, it is considered menses, even if it is slight, so she must stop praying, and if it ceases, she performs ghusl again. Her prayer and fasting are valid during the period of purity that interspersed her menses. As for yellowish or brownish discharge after menstruation, it is considered menses if it occurs during the customary period, but it is not considered menses if it occurs outside the customary period.
