The answer

It is forbidden for a person in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) to recite the Qur'an and to stay in the mosque, according to the majority of scholars. The lack of time for (ritual bath) does not permit this. Rather, he must perform ghusl before going to the mosque to study the Qur'an.
