If urine drops are discharged after urination, it is necessary to place a tissue or similar on the the male organ to prevent the spread of impurity. After the discharge of drops ceases, the tissue is removed, and one performs ' (washing of private parts) and wudu' (ablution) for prayer. (ritual bath) is not required for the discharge of these drops; rather, it is obligatory to purify whatever parts of the body or clothes have been soiled by them, along with performing wudu' for prayer. If the discharge of drops is continuous throughout the time, the affected person is considered to have salasil (urinary incontinence).
