It is not a condition to wash the hands with soap after performing ' (washing after defecation or urination). It is sufficient to wash them with water until the visible impurity and its smell are removed. If it is difficult to remove the smell, this does not prevent the purification of the area, as the removal of color and smell in case of difficulty is not a condition for purifying the area. Washing three times is recommended, but omitting it does not affect the validity of the purification.
