What is the ruling on using clear glue that sticks to the hand and prevents water from reaching the skin during ablution, given the difficulty of removing it completely?

If the adhesive prevents water from reaching the skin, it must be removed before performing ablution (wudu) or ritual bath (ghusl (definition)). It is recommended to wear gloves to avoid it sticking to the hand. If a small amount of it is found after prayer, it should be removed, and ablution and prayer should be repeated, or only the affected area should be washed, and then the prayer repeated, depending on the obligation of sequence (muwalat) in ablution. Some scholars have been lenient regarding a small barrier, such as Ibn Taymiyyah, who holds that slight dirt under the fingernail or in the cracks of the feet or any part of the body is excusable. The first opinion is more cautious.
