A Muslim dying while in a state of (ritual impurity requiring a full bath) does not indicate a bad ending. Indeed, Handhalah and Hamzah, may Allah be pleased with them, were martyred while in a state of janabah. If a Muslim man dies while in a state of janabah, or a Muslim woman dies while menstruating, they are given a single (ritual bath) which suffices for both the ghusl of janabah/menstruation and the ghusl of death. This is the view of the majority of scholars.
