What is the solution for a wife who feels distressed and unfulfilled when intimate with her husband, who does not care for his personal hygiene, and she cannot alert him for fear of embarrassing him, especially since she has been married to him for four months after loving someone else to please her father?

The sister's prioritizing her father's satisfaction is evidence of her mature intellect and perfect character. It is the wife's right to care for her husband's appearance, as beautification between spouses is encouraged and a reciprocal right, based on Allah's saying: "And live with them in kindness," and "And due to them is similar to what is due from them, in a reasonable manner." The wife can gently speak with her husband and advise him regarding his attention to his appearance. As for delaying the ghusl (definition) for janabah (definition), there is no harm in it as long as the prayer time does not become too short. However, if he does not perform ghusl at all, this means he does not pray, which necessitates reviewing the ruling on remaining married to him.
