There is no harm in combing and styling the beard, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever has hair, let him honor it."
However, excessive embellishment is disliked, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) prohibition of combing every day and of styling hair except occasionally.
