The question

1- If madhy (pre-seminal fluid) is discharged and gets on the underwear, is it sufficient to sprinkle water on it and on the corresponding part of the trousers, or is it necessary to ascertain if the madhy has actually gotten on the trousers? 2- If I feel wetness in the private parts and cannot distinguish between madhy and sweat, is it obligatory to inspect the clothing to confirm the presence of madhy when the time for prayer arrives, or are the clothes considered pure?

The answer

The questioner is afflicted with waswasah (whispers/obsessive thoughts). He must turn away from these waswasah and pay them no heed. He should not rule that (pre-seminal fluid) has exited except with certainty, nor is he required to inspect for its emission. Rather, he should act upon the original presumption, which is its non-emission when in doubt. If he is certain of the emission of madhy, then he must purify whatever he is certain was affected by it. The original presumption is that impurity does not transfer when there is doubt about it.
