Are the fatty substances that come out after inserting vaginal suppositories and are difficult to remove with water and soap considered ritually impure (najis)?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
If suppositories are inserted into the urinary tract, their fats are impure and invalidate ablution. If they are inserted into the vagina, their fats invalidate ablution and are treated like vaginal discharge. In the event of their impurity, one must strive to remove them by washing, and if their removal depends on soap or similar substances, then using them becomes obligatory.
