Is impurity in the aforementioned cases, such as a cat licking its body after eating impure meat, or licking the ground after eating cheese contaminated with the same impurity, considered impurity according to the prevalent view?

The cat is pure (tahir), and its leftover water (su'r) is pure, based on the saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Indeed, it is not impure; it is among those who circulate among you and those who circulate." This Hadith (definition) indicates the purity of the cat and its leftover water. Any impurities that may touch its mouth are excused, as it is apparent that its saliva purifies what is in its mouth. Its leftover water is pure, and it is permissible to drink it and perform ablution with it. It does not matter that it licks its fur after eating something impure, nor does it matter if its hair falls out in the house.
