Is it permissible to see the awrah of the father-in-law in order to clean him and prepare him for wudu and prayer due to his incapacitation and poor eyesight, given the presence of his children who are reluctant to help him?

It is permissible to perform ablution for the husband's father and to clean him from impurities when necessary, while taking precaution against direct looking at or touching the private parts by placing a cloth over the hand when washing away impurities. This is because whoever is afflicted with serving a sick person in ablution or cleansing has the same ruling as a doctor in terms of looking and touching.
