Is washing the sensitive parts of the body with water without rubbing, after cleaning them with soap, and by repeatedly pouring water over them, considered a valid and sufficient washing for major ritual impurity (ghusl)? And is it permissible to put one's hand into a small container of water to scoop water for ablution (wudu'), if this is the only available container?

Full ghusl (definition) involves starting by washing the hands three times before inserting them into the vessel, then washing the private parts and the rest of the body from impurities. Next, perform a complete ablution (wudu') for prayer, then run water through the roots of the hair. After that, pour three scoops of water over the head, ensuring all folds of the body are reached, then pour water over the entire body three times while rubbing, or immerse oneself three times in abundant water, making sure to cover the outer and inner parts of the hair and its roots with water. It is recommended to start with the right side, face the Qiblah, and recite the prescribed dhikr after ghusl. As for what is obligatory, it is the intention, covering the entire body with water, and ensuring the body is clean.

It is permissible for the one performing ghusl to scoop water from the vessel with their hand, or to use a small vessel to scoop from a larger one. The water is not considered used in this manner because the scooping is not for the purpose of ghusl, and this action has been authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

We advise you to disregard obsessive thoughts and not pay attention to them, as your ghusl is sufficient.
