The question

What is the limit of what is apparent (al-dhahir) concerning the male organ, and is what is concealed by the closing of the lips (of the female organ) considered apparent or inner (batin)? What are the rulings of purity (tahara), prayer (salat), and fasting (sawm) that result from this? And does the touching of the inner part of the conjoined labia to clothing render it impure?

The answer

Everything that water does not reach from the exit of urine or feces is considered internal, and impurity is not established for internal waste unless it emerges. And the opening of the male organ, when closed, is considered to be in the same ruling as the internal parts of the body.
