What is the ruling on drops of urine coming out when taking off clothes due to haste and holding urine, without being able to pinpoint their location, and does the bedding become impure when sleeping in other clothes over clothes wet with impurity, and what should someone afflicted with waswasah (obsessive doubts) do in this situation?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
Unintended drops of urine would defile every part of the garment suspected of being affected, because if the location of the impurity is unknown, then everything suspected must be washed. The trousers become impure if you are certain that wetness has reached them, and the entire suspected area must be washed. However, if you doubt whether wetness has reached them and are not certain, then there is no obligation upon you. The bed does not become impure because no impurity has fallen on it, neither by doubt nor certainty; it is pure and does not require washing. One must be wary of the whispers of Satan.
