The answer

Giving in to obsessive thoughts leads to great evil. It is sufficient for removing impurity to have a strong presumption that it has been removed; certainty is not required. Doubting the transfer of impurity in the mentioned situation is among the obsessive thoughts for which there is no cure other than to repel them.
