The question

What is the ruling on wiping a spot that has been affected by impure water and is difficult to wash? Does the ruling of impurity fall away from impure water if it falls on another part of the body and its color does not change? Is it permissible to assume purity in the water used to wash an impure garment whose condition is unknown? Is it forbidden to ignore seeing the toilet floor, underwear, and the like in order to ward off obsessive whispers (waswas)?

The answer

It is improbable that there is a spot on the body that cannot be washed, unless it is due to a wound or similar impediment. The purification of impurity is obligatory if possible; otherwise, the obligation is waived, and you should alleviate it as much as possible. Do not rule something impure except with absolute certainty. It suffices to pour water over the impure area until the impurity is covered. Beware of obsessive whispers (), for indulging them leads to great evil. Therefore, do not pay attention to these whispers unless you are certain of the impurity's presence.
