Is it permissible to delay ghusl (ritual bath) and combine prayers for several days due to water scarcity and high prices, and the inability to afford it for ghusl from janabah (major ritual impurity)? And what is the solution if this is not permissible? And is there a supplication for protection from the evil of the soul and the whispers of Satan in such circumstances?

Ritual bathing () does not consume much water; the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to bathe with one sa' (approximately two liters). Follow the in ghusl to fulfill your obligation and avoid abandoning prayer, for abandoning it is among the greatest sins and there is no excuse for it. Hasten to perform ghusl when in a state of (ritual impurity) without extravagance, and seek refuge with Allah from evil thoughts.
