Is it valid to perform tayammum for prayer after sexual intercourse and then bathe later in the day?

Tayammum (definition) (dry ablution) does not suffice for water purification unless water is unavailable or there is fear of harm from its use. As for someone who performs tayammum without a legitimate Shar'i (Islamic legal) excuse, while water is available and they are able to use it, their tayammum is not valid and their prayer is null and void. This is based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Allah does not accept the prayer of anyone of you if he has invalidated his ablution until he performs ablution." The woman who prayed with an invalid tayammum must repent to Allah and re-offer the prayers she performed with that purification, because they were rendered void due to the absence of the condition of purity.
