What is the ruling on praying behind an Imam who believes it is permissible to watch animated films depicting Prophets, listens to musical Anashid (religious chants) and considers them a means of drawing closer to Allah, performs Tayammum incorrectly when the weather is cold, follows opinions about the Companions that he dislikes, and allegorizes Hadiths related to the attributes of Allah Almighty? And what is one's duty towards him?

It is not permissible to portray the prophets or to watch such portrayals. Similarly, it is not permissible to listen to anthems accompanied by music. Tayammum (definition) (dry ablution) is not permissible merely due to cold weather if water can be heated or used safely. It is not sufficient to wipe only the back of the hands during tayammum according to the majority of scholars. Adnan Ibrahim's stance on Mu'awiyah is that of the people of innovation who disparage him, whereas Mu'awiyah is a companion who has his virtue. The hadith (definition) "Allah created Adam in His image" is to be taken literally and does not necessitate anthropomorphism. Prayer behind a disobedient person or an innovator is valid, unless their innovation reaches the level of disbelief. However, it is not correct to follow someone in prayer if one knows their prayer is invalid, such as someone performing tayammum without a valid excuse.
