What should a female teacher do who works in a cold, mountainous area where there are no washing facilities available, and she wants to perform ghusl for prayer?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
If a person in a state of ritual impurity (junub) cannot find a place to perform (ritual bath), or if they find one but fear that using water would cause harm due to the lack of means to warm it, then they should resort to (dry ablution). However, if they are able to use water without harm, then ghusl is obligatory for them. One must be wary of the whispers of Satan in this regard.
