Does the dispensation granted by the Maliki school of thought for an individual suffering from chronic incontinence become void upon the emission of a transparent, viscous fluid due to intentionally viewing sexual stimuli, knowing that this fluid also exits for other reasons?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
If the fluid exits involuntarily, it is excused according to the Malikis. However, if it exits due to thinking about lust or seeing something that arouses it, it is not excused, because one is able to prevent it. The prohibition of watching pornographic films has been previously stated, as have the matters that help in getting rid of them.
