Is it permissible to burn soiled papers from the Mus'haf (Quran) and religious books that contain the name of Allah and Quranic verses? What is the ruling on small charred remnants of these papers that were not thoroughly ground? Is it obligatory to dispose of them in a specific way?

The remnants of papers containing letters can be disposed of by burning them completely, or burying them in a clean place, or tearing them up. If the papers are ground until they are shredded, then they have been disposed of. One should be cautious of obsessive doubts.
