The summary of the is that extending one's legs towards the Mus'haf is forbidden or reprehensible. The person doing this should be advised, seeking the help of the mosque's Imam or elders, or by placing the Mus'haf on a stand higher than the level of the feet. Moreover, despising a Muslim is forbidden, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is enough evil for a man to despise his Muslim brother."
