How can the Almighty's saying, "And seek help through patience and prayer," be interpreted in the context of seeking help from other than Allah?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
A Muslim seeks help from none but Allah Almighty. Prayer and patience are not exceptions to this, because they are two acts of worship to Allah Almighty, and we have been commanded in the verse to seek help through them. A Muslim does not ask them for help, but rather worships Allah through them so that He may aid him.
