The answer

The name 'Eve' (Ḥawāʾ) is not mentioned in the Holy Quran, but it is found in the authentic Prophetic . On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Were it not for the Children of Israel, meat would not rot; and were it not for Eve, no female would ever betray her husband."

The majority of scholars have agreed that Eve is the wife of Adam, peace be upon him, and her name has been mentioned in the sayings of many imams and exegetes, such as Al-Shafi'i, Muqatil ibn Sulayman, Ibn Jarir al-Tabari, and Al-Baghawi.
