To what extent are my two books, "Al-Burhan fi Ulum al-Quran" and "Al-Itqan fi Ulum al-Quran," detailed, comprehensive, and verified? And is it recommended to read the book "Al-Tafsir wal-Mufassirun" by Dr. Muhammad Al-Dhahabi?
The book " and Mufassirun" (Exegesis and Exegetes) is beneficial in its subject matter. It discusses exegesis and exegetes, the stages of codification, schools of exegesis and their imams and commentaries. It analyzes their views and beliefs, and transmits the sayings of scholars concerning them. It also addresses the commentaries of various sects such as the Shiites, Khawarij, Sufis, and philosophers, concluding with scientific exegesis and exegesis and exegetes in the modern era. As for "Al-Burhan fi Ulum al-Qur'an" by Al-Zarkashi and "Al-Itqan fi Ulum al-Qur'an" by Al-Suyuti, they are two magnificent books on the sciences of the Qur'an that are indispensable for practitioners of this art, and people after them are reliant on them. It is recommended to acquire and study both, but if you must choose only one, then choose "Al-Itqan".
