What is the meaning of Allah's imposing obedience beyond one's capacity according to the interpretation of the name "Al-Latif" (The Subtle/Kind)?

The sentence appeared in Tafsir (definition) al-Qurtubi when commenting on the verse: (Allah is Most Gentle with His servants; He provides for whom He wills, and He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty). This is likely a typographical error, and the correct wording should be: "He does not burden him with obedience beyond his capacity," because imposing a burden beyond one's capacity is negated in Islamic law, as Allah says: (Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity), and (Allah does not burden a soul except with what He has given it), and (Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear).

It was mentioned in Tafsir al-Naysaburi and al-Tha'labi with the wording: "He burdens him with obedience below his capacity," meaning He burdens His servants with obligations they can fulfill without hardship.
