What is the preponderant meaning of the word "وازدجر" (wazdujir) mentioned in verse 9 of Surat Al-Qamar, and how can the meaning of this word be reconciled with verse 38 of Surat Hud to avoid any apparent contradiction?

Allah Almighty stated in Surat Al-Qamar that the people of Noah denied Our servant Noah and called him mad, and "uzdujira" means that they rebuked him for claiming prophethood with insults and threats of death, or they sternly and harshly prevented him from warning and conveying the message. Noah then prayed to his Lord, saying: "Indeed, I am overcome, so help me."
