The answer

This is from the eloquence of the Quran and its diverse styles, where speech comes concise and summarized in one place, and elaborated in another. This is abundantly present in the stories of the prophets and the events of the Hereafter. Sheikh al-Islam mentioned that the most authentic methods of exegesis are to interpret the Quran by the Quran, so what is summarized in one place has been explained in another, and what is abbreviated has been elaborated upon in another. Ibn al-Jawzi authored a book on this topic.
