What are the best ways to memorize the Holy Quran, and are there any websites that help with that?

Among the means of preserving the Quran are seeking Allah's help, choosing suitable times for memorization (such as before and after Fajr), maintaining a daily portion, memorizing under the guidance of a proficient shaykh, and regularly reviewing what has been memorized. Among the most important means is avoiding sins, for knowledge is light, and the light of Allah is not guided to a disobedient person. It is not recommended to rely on the internet for memorizing the Quran.
