The answer

Memorizing the Quran is a great virtue and a high status that a servant achieves by Allah's grace. Regarding it, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It will be said to the companion of the Quran when he enters Paradise: 'Recite and ascend.' So he will recite and ascend one degree for every verse until he recites the last thing he has with him." A Muslim should not neglect this good deed but should strive to memorize the Quran and revise it. One should not succumb to the whispers of Satan that discourage memorization under the pretext of fearing forgetfulness, for Allah the Almighty says: "And We have certainly made the Quran easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?"
