To what extent is the statement true that repeating the recitation of the noble verse: ﴿رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ﴾ (My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need) facilitates marriage, and is there anything in the Prophet's Sunnah that supports this?

The verse from Surah (definition) Al-Qasas was uttered by Moses (peace be upon him) when he was hungry and afraid. He asked his Lord and did not ask people. Allah then arranged his marriage to one of the daughters of the righteous man after he recounted his stories to him. There is no evidence that repeating this verse facilitates obtaining a righteous wife. However, the Qur'an is for whatever one intends it for, so there is no objection to the supplicant achieving his need through it, while being careful not to innovate something in the religion for which there is no evidence, for "whoever does an action that is not in accordance with our command, it will be rejected." Among the additional innovations are adhering to specific manners in recitation or worship for which there is no evidence.
