Is it permissible not to recite the memorized surahs when reading the Qur’an outside of prayer, and to suffice with reciting them only within prayer?

The Qur’an should be recited completely at least once every month, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) statement to Abdullah ibn Amr: "Recite the Qur’an every month." I said, "I find strength..." until he said, "Then recite it in seven [days], and do not exceed that." It is permissible to recite the Qur’an in order or out of order. However, it is disliked to reverse the order [of surahs or verses] in prayer, such that one recites a surah (definition) before its preceding one, or the end of a surah before its beginning. Reversing the order is permissible outside of prayer.
