Is it permissible to recite individual Surahs from the Noble Qur’an, such as reciting Surat Al-Kahf, then Yasin, then Ad-Dukhan, then Ar-Rahman, then Al-Waqi’ah, then Al-Mulk?

There is no harm in reciting non-consecutive surahs from the Quran, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did by reciting Surah As-Sajdah and Surah Al-Mulk before sleeping. However, one should not persistently do something that the Prophet did not persistently do, fearing falling into innovation (bid'ah), except for those who have not memorized anything else. It is also preferable to recite from the Mushaf occasionally to complete the recitation of the entire Quran.
