Is it permissible to collectively recite Surat Al-Kahf on Friday morning, with each person reciting a part alternately until the end of the Surah?

It is permissible to recite Surat al-Kahf on Friday through "managed recitation," where each person recites a portion of it, and this is the view of the majority of scholars. However, two matters must be noted: First, one should not regularly adhere to this method lest it be perceived as a distinct or obligatory Sunnah, thereby becoming akin to an innovation (bid'ah). Second, this method does not achieve the merit mentioned for one who recites the entire Surah, because the merit is specific to one who recites it all.
