Is the reward for the remembrance of Allah like the reward for reading the Qur'an?

Reciting the Quran is the absolute best form of remembrance (dhikr), because for every letter the reciter (of the Quran) gets ten good deeds. As stated in the : "Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will receive a good deed, and a good deed is multiplied tenfold. I do not say that Alif, Lam, Meem is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Meem is a letter."
