What is the ruling on listening to the recitation of one of the skilled reciters while performing supererogatory prayers with the intention of reciting along with him due to not having memorized the surahs and not having mastered tajwid?

The worshipper should strive for humility and contemplation, and refrain from listening to a reciter from a recorder or mobile phone, as it can be distracting. This can be avoided by reciting from the Mushaf (definition) (Qur'an). Being prompted during prayer does not invalidate it, and it is permissible to rely on it for someone unable to recite Al-Fatihah, whether through memorization, prompting, or looking at the Mushaf. As for parts other than Al-Fatihah, it is preferable to avoid prompting for those who can recite from the Mushaf, especially since some jurists invalidate the prayer of someone who is prompted by another, as is the view of the Hanafis.
