What is the ruling on reciting the adhkar and then lying down on the right side before Fajr prayer?

Lying down after the two rak'ahs of Fajr is a Sunnah (definition), based on the statement of 'Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: "When the mu'adhdhin finished the first adhan (definition) for the Fajr prayer, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would stand and pray two light rak'ahs before the Fajr prayer after the dawn became clear, then he would lie down on his right side until the mu'adhdhin came to him for the iqamah (definition)." Some of the Salaf were of the opinion that it is recommended at home, not in the mosque. Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymeen held that lying down is for those who are tired from Qiyam (definition) al-Layl (night prayer) to rest, provided that they do not fear being overcome by sleep and missing the prayer. The wisdom behind it is to rest and renew one's energy for the Fajr prayer.
