What is the ruling on the Witr prayer that the Imam leads as three rak'ahs in the manner of the Maghrib prayer, then after reciting Al-Fatihah and what is easy from the Qur'an in the third rak'ah, he says "Allahu Akbar" and stands silently for 2-3 minutes, then says "Allahu Akbar" and bows, knowing that he has already recited the Qunut supplication collectively after the Taraweeh prayer and before commencing the Witr, and does this manner have a basis in Islamic law, and is it better to pray with him or to leave and pray Witr alone to gain the reward of a whole night of prayer?

The Witr prayer of three rak'ahs with two tashahhuds and one salam is disliked. It has two legislated forms: performing the three rak'ahs continuously with a single tashahhud (definition), or performing two rak'ahs with salam, then performing one rak'ah for Witr. Reciting the takbir after the recitation and before bowing silently is an innovation (bid'ah). Reciting the Qunut supplication before Witr while sitting has no basis. The imam should be advised in the best manner. If he does not respond, do not abandon praying behind him unless you find another imam who applies the Sunnah (definition). Otherwise, pray behind him, and his innovation is upon him; the prayer of an innovative imam is valid, and the worshipper (ma'mum) receives his reward. The imam's adherence to Abu Hanifa does not justify abandoning the Prophetic Sunnah, for the imams themselves acknowledged the obligation to follow the Sunnah when it becomes clear.
