The answer

The Quran consists of thirty juz' (parts), and each juz' is named after the (chapter) or ayah (verse) with which it begins. It is worth noting that some masaahif (copies of the Quran) may differ in the beginning of certain ajza' (plural of juz'). Usually, the designation of the ajza' relies on their numbering rather than their names.
