Does Ibn Taymiyyah's statement that the Basmalah is a separate verse, revealed by Allah at the beginning of each surah (except for Barā'ah) — and not part of the surah that follows or precedes it — mean that there are multiple verses of the Basmalah that were revealed, corresponding to the number of surahs in the Qur'an?

Scholars differed on whether the Basmala is a verse from Al-Fatihah or from every Surah (definition). Some said it is not a verse except in Surat An-Naml. Others said it is a verse from Al-Fatihah only. And some said it is a verse from every Surah, which is the most correct view according to Al-Shafi'i. Some went to the extent of saying it is an independent verse revealed to separate the Surahs. However, they all agreed that it is part of a verse in Surat An-Naml, and it is not a verse from Surat At-Tawbah (definition) (Bara'ah).
