What is the validity of the Imam’s fatwa prohibiting charitable donations from money acquired through drug trafficking in any charitable field, and what is the Islamic legal advice concerning such money?

Money acquired through unlawful means cannot be considered charity for the one who gives it, because Allah is pure and accepts only what is pure. This money should be spent on public utilities for Muslims, such as mosques, schools, and hospitals, or given to the poor and needy, with the intention of getting rid of it, not seeking proximity to Allah. This money is lawful for the poor recipient. Destroying this money is a grave error. The one who issues a fatwa (definition) should do so only with knowledge, and the one seeking a fatwa should seek it from someone whose piety, knowledge, and scrupulousness are trusted.
