What should I do about marital disputes with my wife, who has disobeyed me in multiple matters and is still asking for divorce, while I wish to establish a righteous family?

What the wife did by disobeying and watching abominations, and leaving the marital home without her husband's permission, is haram (definition) (forbidden) and is considered nushuz (disobedience), which forfeits her rights. The husband should deal with the situation with wisdom and patience. Beating is not permissible except after exhausting other means of reform, such as admonition and avoidance (hiding from her). If it is highly probable that beating will lead to her reform, then a non-bruising beat is permissible; otherwise, it is not. The husband must initiate reconciliation with his wife and bring her back home, either by going to her or through the mediation of righteous people. If she returns, he should treat her kindly and teach her matters of her religion. Otherwise, he is permitted to divorce her or withhold her until she ransoms herself from him with money. What she took from his money is not permissible, and she must return it.
