Is it permissible to establish a washroom and a storage area for the deceased inside the mosque, given their presence in hospitals and the priority of building schools?
One should be keen on agreement and unity, and avoid discord and division. You should concede to each other for the sake of harmony, for the benefit of conciliation in religion is greater than anything else. This is exemplified by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who refrained from changing the structure of the Kaaba to reconcile hearts, and by Ibn Mas'ud who prayed behind Uthman despite his disapproval of Uthman completing the prayer while traveling, saying: "Disagreement is evil." It is permissible to forgo what is better for the sake of reconciling hearts and unifying the word. Undoubtedly, striving for a school to educate children is more important than a laundry, especially since education is a transitive act of worship that society urgently needs. Establishing an Islamic school is paramount due to its role in preserving the beliefs and morals of children.
